Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains what personal data PinWorks collects, why, and how it is handled. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website and the email sign-up form.

1. What data we collect and why

Email address (newsletter / free guide sign-up)
If you submit your email address via the sign-up form on our website, we collect your email address. We use this to send you the free Pinterest Board Naming Cheat Sheet you requested and occasional emails about PinWorks. Legal basis: your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.

Purchase data
When you buy PinWorks, your purchase is processed by Lemon Squeezy (LS Web Services LLC), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, and payment information to process the transaction. We receive your name and email address from Lemon Squeezy solely to fulfil your order and provide support. Legal basis: performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Website analytics
We use Google Analytics (Google Tag Manager, measurement ID G-93M06RH0KL) to collect anonymised data about how visitors use the website (pages visited, referral sources, approximate location by country). This data does not identify you personally. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). You can opt out via your browser's privacy settings or a browser extension such as the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

2. Who we share your data with

We share personal data only with the following third-party processors, each operating under their own privacy policies and GDPR-compliant data processing agreements:

• MailerLite (UAB "MailerLite", Lithuania) — email delivery and list management. MailerLite Privacy Policy
• Lemon Squeezy (LS Web Services LLC, USA) — payment processing and order fulfilment. Lemon Squeezy Privacy Policy
• Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) — anonymised website analytics. Google Privacy Policy
• Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) — website hosting. Vercel processes standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and performance purposes.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

3. How long we keep your data

• Email subscribers: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Purchase records: for as long as required by Belgian tax and accounting law (minimum 7 years).
• Analytics data: retained by Google per their standard retention settings (14 months by default).

4. Your rights under GDPR

As a data subject in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), where no legal obligation requires us to keep it
• Restriction — ask us to restrict how we process your data
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email we send

5. Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure traffic. These are analytics cookies only — we do not use advertising, tracking, or retargeting cookies. If you prefer not to receive these cookies, you can block them in your browser settings.

6. Data transfers outside the EU

Some of our processors (Lemon Squeezy, Google, Vercel) are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission as the transfer mechanism.
